Nanny Kate & Co. is seeking a full-time nanny for a family in Cambridge with an infant (due early June) and an independent, snuggly, confident, sociable 2.5-year-old. Primary care will be for the infant as their 2-year-old is in full day school. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 6pm, with 47 guaranteed hours weekly, starting in early September. The family would love to find a nanny that can commit to their family for many years (5+) to come!
A great match for this role is experienced with infants and toddlers, professional, reliable, confident, and responsible; someone gentle, caring, calm, and energetic, who will independently plan a week full of creative, age-appropriate activities, playdates, and fun outings. A second language speaker would be an added bonus but not required.
It is important that this nanny is looking to grow with the family long term as the position will shift to household management/support when the children are in school full time. So, a candidate who enjoys cooking healthy meals, running errands, doing family laundry, and generally supporting the needs of a busy family would be great!
Driving is required for this position, a car is not, although parking is available. The family will provide a car for the nanny to use during work hours.
The Family travels 2-4 weeks throughout the year and would love to bring the nanny along, but not required!
One parent works in the home part of the week in a designated office.
Compensation: $32/hour ($85k+/year) + optional healthcare stipend. Full paid benefits package offered with all pay on the books through payroll.
