Southeast Evanston family seeking a part time nanny for our two children, aged 9 yo and 8 yo. We also have a well behaved 25 lb, non-shedding, two year old dog.
Care is needed for school drop offs and pick ups, Tuesday through Friday. Typical hours are 6:45 am - 8:50 am and 3:30 pm - 6:15 pm. Responsibilities include taking the kids to school (0.5 miles from our home), picking them up from school, and taking them to after school activities. Responsibilities also include simple meal prep (breakfast for the kids, helping pack lunches). Must have own car for transportation. Easy street parking in front of our home.
Twenty hours guaranteed per week.
Pay rate$24/hour take home pay.
Paid vacation time and sick time.
Optional additional hours sometimes available (date nights, school half days and days off) but not required and agreed on in advance.
Ideal position for a college or graduate student with some remote learning flexibility.
