Hi! I’m looking for a summer nanny for my two easy kids (a 6-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy).

I’m in the final stages of interviewing for a position that would start June 2, and if I get it, I’ll need reliable help Monday through Friday during the day. I would need to leave the house around 8:30 AM, and my wife or I would be home between 5:00–6:00 PM at the latest. On most Fridays, my wife would be home by 3:00 PM (possibly earlier, as the office typically closes around 1:00/2:00 on Fridays!).

The role includes driving the kids to and from swim team in the mornings in June, hanging out at the house, watching movies, going to the pool, doing fun summer activities, and ensuring they read for at least 30 mins each day. There’s no major housework expected, but we’d love to come home to a tidied-up house (feel free to put the kids to work on cleaning up their own messes ?). I’ll set aside a weekly budget for outings or lunch, and we also have a pool membership you can all use. We will make sure food is available at the house for you — just let us know your favorites, and we will stock up! Some weeks may look a little different due to other camps (VBS, football camp for Hudson), but you’ll still get paid the same. During VBS, you’d have a few hours to yourself each morning.

I’m offering $500 per week, and the job runs every weekday through July 3. The kids will be out of town from July 4–18. If you’re available for the last two weeks of July, I may need help during that time as well.

One important thing to note — I really need someone who is reliable and committed to being there every weekday, as I won’t have the flexibility to call out once my new job starts.

I do have a micro golden-doodle that would need to be let out a few times a day and we would prefer for the ideal candidate to be CPR certified and have 2 references.
