We have a rising 5th grader (girl), 1st grader (girl), and kindergartener (boy). My wife and I work long hours and need help around the house. We have had a nanny for three years now but she is having a baby and will be moving on afterward in mid-August. We prefer a candidate that lives within a 30 minute drive to our home.
We need someone to greet the kids at our house when they get home from school, make sure they do their homework, make dinner for them, get them read for bed, and manage other appointments like piano lessons, tennis lessons, play dates, etc.They would also need to handle light laundry, clean up after themself, and make sure the kids clean up after themselves too. We have a standard poodle and a pool in the yard.
We would like someone from 2:30-6:30 every day that school is in session and up to 10 hours a day when the kids are not in school including summers. We take a few vacations a year as well so we wouldn’t need coverage during those days.
