We are looking for a loving, experienced, and dependable full-time nanny to care for our newborn during the day. Our family operates on opposite work schedules, with one parent working nights and the other working days. While a parent will be present in the home, they will be sleeping or preparing for their work shift. Your primary responsibility will be to provide attentive care to our newborn, ensuring his needs are met throughout the day. Additionally, you will help facilitate a smooth transition between shifts as one parent returns home and the other prepares to leave for work.

Job Details:
* Hours: Monday–Friday, alternating days per week (2–3 days per week), 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (approximately 25-30 hours per week)

Responsibilities:
- Provide nurturing, attentive care for our newborn.
- Follow an appropriate feeding schedule and handle pumped breast milk properly. Child is exclusively breastfed.
- Practice safe sleep techniques and support healthy sleep habits.
- Handle diaper changes, soothing techniques, and tummy time.
- Perform light baby-related housekeeping (e.g., washing bottles/pump parts and baby laundry).
- Maintain a quiet and respectful environment while the parent is sleeping.

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience caring for newborns (preferred).
- CPR and infant first aid certification.
- Knowledge of paced bottle feeding and breastfeeding support.
- Non-smoker.
- Reliable, patient, and responsive to a newborn’s needs.

Compensation:
$15–$18/hour
