Location: Sarasota 34239
Hours: 25-33 hours per week (per nanny)
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00am-6:00pm + 2 Saturdays per month, for each nanny (negotiable)
Start Date: Dec 1st or sooner available
Pay: $26+ per hour DOE

Busy family with three young children (5 years, 4 years, and 2 months) is seeking TWO nannies/family assistants to split the schedule listed above. With both parents managing work and parenting, they’re looking for candidates who have flexibility with scheduling and a proactive approach to childcare and assisting the family. The home dynamic is a collaborative, family-focused environment where communication and working with the parents—especially with mom, who works from home—are essential.

The family’s ideal candidates are calming, warm, and balance educational engagement with fun.Candidates who have a calm confidence about themselves and can remain consistent with routine in order to provide the children with predictability and build trust.

Family would also like candidates who are open to traveling with them in the future and/or provide 24/7 care when parents travel without the children.

Weekday Job Duties & Routine
Prep dinner for the family before children get home; Assist with Dinner time
If children are in the house, full attention will be focused on the children – additional household tasks are not expected to be done.
Dividing up school pickup, activities, and homework duties with mom
Wind down, baths, read books (children usually in bed by 6:30pm)
Assistance with children’s laundry and tidying of their spaces as time allows
