Hours: 25+ hours per week, more could be available with additional family assistant tasks
Schedule: Mon-Fri 3:00pm-7:00pm; + 2 Sats/mo 6-8 hours; hours vary

Busy family with three young children (5 years, 4 years, and 2 months) is seeking a nanny/family assistant to join their household. With both parents managing work and parenting, they’re looking for someone who has flexibility with additional hours and a proactive approach to childcare and assisting the family. The home dynamic is a collaborative, family-focused environment where communication and working with the parents—especially with mom, who works from home—are essential.

Family would also like someone who is open to traveling with them in the future and/or provide 24/7 care when parents travel without the children.

Weekday Job Duties & Routine
Prep dinner for the family before children get home; Assist with Dinner time
If children are in the house, full attention will be focused on the children – additional household tasks are not expected to be done.
Dividing up school pickup, activities, and homework duties with mom
Wind down, baths, read books (children usually in bed by 6:30pm)
Assistance with children’s laundry and tidying of their spaces as time allows

Weekend Job Duties & Routine
Children may have sporting events in morning - coordinate with parents on care for the baby or the sporting event
If parents are in charge of the children and/or all children are asleep - help with laundry, upkeep, meal prep, preparing for the next week
Care for children and maintain evening routine if parents go out for a date night
