Requirements

Personal and/or professional experience with one or more of the following: special needs teaching, behavioral, speech / occupational therapy, tutoring or caregiving, especially with children on the autism spectrum
Must be energetic, engaging, reliable and organized
Must be fully vaccinated, be able to pass a background check, and have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Willing to play interactively with two active young girls without any screens
We are looking for someone who anticipates having consistent availability through the end of this school year in May 2025
Our family

Our 6-year-old has 'high-functioning / level 1' autism and 'moderate/mixed type' ADHD. She's verbal, very independent, and thrives on following rules and routines. What she mostly needs is a lot of positive attention and encouragement. Her younger sister turns 2 in December, and is neurotypical, very active, and sweet.

Responsibilities

Engage and supervise two girls, providing after-school care in Lake Worth Beach on weekdays (Monday - Friday) from 3:00 to 6:30pm
Facilitate enriching age-appropriate activities to support their development
Prepare and serve snacks, dinner, and our youngest daughter's evening bath & bedtime routine
