We are a family of four with two young daughters, ages 2 and 4. Our household also includes three dogs — Luana, Lexi, and Loki — and two cats, Haven and Owen. With a lively home full of kids and pets, we prioritize creating a warm, playful, and nurturing environment. Right now, we’re balancing the dual challenges of homeschooling our daughters and launching a new business venture, which keeps us on our toes.

Our home is in a family-friendly neighborhood surrounded by supportive, like-minded families, including medics, firefighters, and police officers. This strong sense of community provides a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Dad works as a psychiatric provider, and Mom manages the family business, making life busy but rewarding.

We’re looking for a babysitter who can actively engage our daughters in fun activities and games. While it’s not a requirement, we would love someone who can introduce educational play to help foster learning for both children. Since we have multiple pets, comfort around animals is essential. Our ideal babysitter is reliable, creative, and adaptable — someone who will feel like part of the family.

Our schedule is two weekdays per week from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening availability for date nights. Compensation ranges from $12 to $20 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and willingness to assist with additional household tasks. These tasks may include light cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, and helping with educational activities. If everything goes well, there may be opportunities to increase hours and responsibilities.
