My husband is a stay at home dad primarily with some part time professional projects, and a lot of home renovations to work on as well. I am a doctor who works long hours, and we are both getting a little burnt out. We are therefore looking for a nanny, thinking 1 full day per week, with the possibility of increasing if it works out, to help free us up a little. We have a large, but very sweet dog, and my mother lives in an in-law apartment on the 3rd floor. Your responsibilities would really just be the 2 kids!
Keep an eye on the kids from roughly 9 to 5. Our youngest, 2 year old, naps for 3 hours in the middle of the day. Our 4year old needs minimal supervision indoors, but could use a playmate, and likes to run around outside (we have an 8 acre property to explore!). No need to put them to bed. Just prepare a light lunch/snacks and keep them busy.
Flexible- thinking 9-5, starting at 1, maybe increase to 2 or 3 days per week, probably Mondays and maybe Fridays, but again, flexible. Would be at our house, a large old colonial with a big yard and a Newfoundland dog. My mother lives in an inlaw apartment and would be in and out, my husband would often be there working in his office, the basement, or in the yard
