I work with the fire department in Windsor. My twin 8 year old boys and I live in Johnstown, where they attend school at Elwell Elementary. We have a 6 year old Husky/Shephard mix, Kai.
Outside of school, my boys are interested in legos, fishing, swimming, reading and their favorite shows. They attend soccer, music and have a biweekly counseling appointment.
I need a nanny to care for the boys when I am working my shifts with the fire department. The nanny will also be responsible for transporting the boys to school, in the morning before school starts at 8am, and from school in the afternoon before school ends at 3:30pm. I also need the nanny to transport the boys to their soccer, music, and appointments on days that I work, to feed them, as well as to help them with their morning and evening routines.
I work a 48/96 shift schedule. I leave at 6am on day 1 and return two days later at around 7:30am. The nanny I hire would need to arrive early in the morning so that I can leave for work. You will spend two overnights in the bedroom beside the boys' room. Because I work for 2 days and am off for the next 4, my work days are not always on the same day of the week. When my shifts fall on weekdays that the boys are in school, I do not need care for them during the day; weekend shifts are all day.
