We are looking for a compassionate & experienced weekend nanny to join our family in the Torrey Del Mar area. Our ideal candidate will be available to work Saturday and Sunday, providing care for our two wonderful boys.
• 10-year-old: Diagnosed with autism and eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). Loves people, is inquisitive, enjoys reading and is interested in mechanical things.
• 3-year-old: active, interested in trains, trucks, building etc., loves the park and likes helping with projects.
Qualifications
• Experience working with neurodivergent children, particularly those with autism
• Patient and calm demeanor
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to maintain & adapt to routines
• Driver's license and reliable transportation
• First aid & CPR certified.

Responsibilities
• Childcare for both children
• Transportation to weekend activities
• Engaging children in age-appropriate & interest-based activities
• Light housework
• Preparing meals according to dietary restrictions
Desired Skills
• Knowledge of autism-specific strategies and interventions
• Familiarity with sensory processing differences
• Ability to create a predictable and structured environment
• Willingness to learn and implement communication techniques tailored to our children's needs
Schedule and Compensation
• 16 hours per weekend (8 hours on Saturday, 8 hours on Sunday)
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience (starting ~$23 an hour)
