A kind and fun-loving family located in the Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco is looking for a full-time nanny for their almost one-year-old son. They are looking to fill 40 hours per week with the general schedule being Monday through Friday 8:30am-430pm, with the occasional date night if the nanny is open to it. This family practices play-based and respectful parenting and looks for a nanny who follows the same philosophy.
Responsibilities: Full childcare for an active soon-to-be toddler
Some light child cooking/meal prep when Mom is not able to cook, Folding the child's clean clothes and putting them away
Qualifications: A nanny who follows baby’s cues, sets healthy boundaries and encourages him to learn from the world and be curious and adventurous
Safety conscious and has good judgment (encourage the child to explore but let parents know if there are any injuries or accidents)
Parents are looking for teammate
Requirements: Knowledge of respectful caregiving such as RIE, Montessori, or Reggio, Valid driver's license and clean driving record (family car will be provided for any on-the-job driving and parking will be provided for the nanny's car)
Practices cleanliness and good hygiene for self and the baby, Up to date Flu, Tdap, and MMR vaccines; COVID vaccine preferred but not required
