Seeking a reliable, nurturing nanny for a newborn due at the end of September. The family, recently relocated to the Palisades, desires a loving, attentive nanny passionate about infants. Their warm household enjoys cooking, movies, and quality time. They value longevity and prefer a live-in nanny, offering a private basement floor. They have two older children (11 and 13) with their own long-term nanny and a Maltipoo dog. Ideal candidates should be warm, experienced, and comfortable with pets.
Provide attentive care to the newborn, manage feeding, diaper changes, bathing & soothing. Ensure a safe environment and engage in age-appropriate activities and developmental exercises. Perform tasks like organizing the nursery and baby laundry w/ light housekeeping duties related to the baby’s care (family has fulltime cleaners). Flexibility for a split shift or fixed 8am-4pm schedule is ideal, along with availability for occasional date nights & potential travel with the family in the future.
