We are two professionals living in Los Feliz with a bright, funny, inquisitive almost 6-year-old daughter. Our family is close-knit, loves to tell stories and have dance parties, enjoys hikes and beach days, and has dinner together most nights. We read, explore nature, make art, and cook together.

We are looking for afternoon help with our daughter. Daily tasks will involve pick up, drop off at various lessons, healthy meal prep, and outdoor or creative play. The right candidate should be a grounded self-starter, positive team player, and capable problem solver. Progressive values around social-emotional learning is a must. A background in early childhood environments, eg, preschool experience is helpful and Spanish speaking is a plus as our child is in a dual language program at school.

Schedule will be M-F 2-6 pm. We are flexible to some extent, for instance if you have to start later one day per week, or are only available 4 and not 5 days. The most important thing is that we be able to build a consistent schedule with you.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license. Occasionally we'll ask you to run household errands or help with tasks around the home but the focus will be on an attentive relationship with our daughter. No smokers, please. Should have prior experience and excellent references.
