Family in Chapman Park is seeking a long-term part time nanny/backup sitter for their active & loving 17 month old to start ASAP. Part time care is needed each week on Tuesdays + Wednesdays from 5pm-7pm. Family is looking for a provider who has additional availability for occasional backup care when the child’s daycare is closed, or when the child is home sick (i.e. ear infection or stuffy nose), which can fall on any weekday from 8am-5:30pm (any availability within this time frame is helpful).
Family can provide several month’s notice for daytime backup care needs, however, sick day requests will typically be for the next day with 24hr notice. Mom & dad WFH.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Bathtime
*Bedtime routines
*Cooking/preparing healthy meals for the child
*Driving child; daycare pickups (also walkable) - furthest distance is 3 miles
*Diaper changing/potty training assistance
*Engaging with child in developmentally appropriate activities
*Facilitating nap times during daytime requests
REQUIREMENTS:

*2 years of paid professional toddler care experience
*Authorized to work in the U.S.
*CPR certified, or willing to become certified
*High School Diploma or equivalent
*Must have a reliable vehicle to transport child
*Valid driver’s license, clean driving record + valid driving insurance

Position pays $30-$40 per hour and the family need 4 hours of care each week + additional hours on occasion.
