We have four children but the older 3 are in school and the 3 year old is in preschool, so the majority of the job is taking them to school, light housekeeping, and then picking the preschooler up at lunch to watch her until we get home.
Getting kids ready for school, light meal prep and sometimes packing lunches (if I didn't have time), driving kids to school (sometimes), picking up from preschool, light housecleaning (laundry, dishes).
We need child care at least 2 days per week but will definitely give more days if you want to work more. Sometimes we take our nanny on vacation, sometimes use our nanny to house-sit when we go on vacation, sometimes use our nanny for date night babysitting or weekend overnights when we go on the boat.
