Hi, my name is Kristen Carlson and I am a native of Michigan but have lived in the Tacoma area for almost 14 years and really love it! I have two daughters aged 9 and 6 and now that they are both in school, I have some time to go back to work.
I have minimal experience with the elderly but did an internship back in '08 with a program called Little Brothers Friends Of The Elderly. I was tasked with helping to plan events, visiting the elderly in care facilities, delivering meals, etc. I have a lot of experience caring for others as I care for my own family while also running the household.
