Hello! My background is very unique and is much easier to go through over a verbal conversation but I will be as comprehensive as I can be! I have 2 degrees, both of which are in the medical field. I do well in emergency situations, if need be, and have spent all of my adult life working with people-in home care, childcare and in lieu of medicine. I have done in home care for the elderly and also spent many years caring for my grandmother. Much of my experience is in working as a nanny for young children, but many of those same skills needed for childcare are needed in elder care.

I have a heart for people and connect well with just about everyone I meet. On the other side of that, having been in leadership Healthcare roles for so many years, I also am highly organized, work efficiently and can help to improve home living situations and help to make accessibility much easier for clients. I'm a little on the goofy/quirky side and like to make others laugh.

A lot of people ask me, with the background I have, why I'm looking at doing in home care and childcare again and the answer is simple-i just love people. I love the intimacy of being with one or two people at a time and getting to know them. My son is old enough now and my husband is stable enough in his career that I'm now able to pull back a bit on the working side of life so that I can do something I truly enjoy.
