Amy’s Bio
I am a retired woman who is very active. I am responsible, reliable, fun, compassionate, and caring. I relate well to people and feel that I would be a great fit as a companion. I am comfortable coming to your house and I love pets. While I do not have formal training as a companion, I do have real life knowledge. I helped care for my sister-in-law in the end stage of her life and for my mother, who had cancer. I understand the needs of others and I always attempt to recognize what needs to be done. I walk a lot and exercise, and would be happy to help someone else do the same. I don’t mind cooking or cleaning if that would be helpful, or driving to appointments or the store. I put the needs of others first and try to engage them in healthy, fun activities to keep their mind and body active. I always try to see the glass as half full.

Amy is a wonderful, kind and caring person! She’s doing an excellent job caring for our infant and is a huge help around our house! We feel lucky to have her and highly recommend her! :)
Amy was a nice person during the interview all seemed to be going well. She casually brought up the fact that she was vaxxed, I told her I was not due to my own beliefs but that other family members of mine in the household were vaxxed. To each their own there was no judgment. I didn't really care one way or the other it was talk like matter of fact.. Only a day or two ago I get this text from her saying" Since I haven't heard back from you I'm assuming you decided on someone else. I decided that I didn't feel comfortable about the COVID vaccine difference of opinion anyway." Well first, off I was still interviewing for positions. She gave me less than 24hrs for an answer which wasn't discussed in the interview when I would be makingh call back, secondly, if the vaxx wasn't brought up I would never have known and if she found out later and felt this way really doesn't give much of advance notice to find other sitters. Maybe she state this in her bio if she felt so strongly. Thank God shed that light in my direction to know she was NOT for us. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
