I am currently a certified medical assistant working with Sentara. I am a full-time employee seeking for a part-time evening position where I can utilize my skills and passion for helping others. I've been in healthcare for over 10 years and absolutely love it. I recently was a caregiver to my grandmother whom unfortunately passed away. I would check on her a couple days a week, bathe her and change her colostomy bags. She had a hospice nurse most of the time but helping her and just spending time talking or watching a movie was always a good time. Sometimes we forget that they are not in a good space and sometimes get frustrated and I like to think I bring some light and joy to their day.
