Hi! My name is Jeannie, I'm 37yrs old. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Registered Medication Aide (RMA), licensed through the Virginia Board of Nursing. I am CPR Certified. I have been working with senior's in-home and at assisted living/memory care facilities for about 10yrs. I love working with the elderly and helping them anyway I can, and to be there for companionship. I'm very passionate at what I do. I grew up with my grandparents all my life and as they grew older, health problems slowly arose and I started assisting them more and more and fell into a care giving role at a young age. I'm a very compassionate, caring person whose always loved helping others and knew this was my calling.
My granny had COPD and was on continuous oxygen, so I’m very familiar w/ o2 tanks/ concentrators, nebulizer machines / treatments, and inhalers. She passed away January 31, 2021 d/t lung cancer. I was her full time caretaker. I also took care of my papa full time. He passed away February 24, 2020. He had kidney failure and dementia.
