Hello, my name is Kaitlyn Allison! I am 20 years old. I have my CNA, I received it January 2018. I am also CPR certified. I started working as a CNA in January but had to leave the field due to my current pregnancy. My doctor didnt want me lifting anything over 50lbs at the time and because I worked in a nursing home thats all that I did all day. While working in the nursing home I took on a job with a in home agency so I also have in-home experience. I really enjoyed my time working in home and in the nursing home. I loved being able to make a difference in people's lives. At the end of the day seeing my patiens feel better and smile made all the hard work woth it to me. I got close to alot of people. My favorite part of the job, was being able to sit down and talk to my residents about their families and the memories they cherished the most. I have the most experience with dementia and Alzheimer's however, I worked on all units of the nursing home. I worked woth rehabilitation residents as well. I am okay with pets. I am a current pet owner. I own a 6 year old Siberian husky, zeriah. I am not a smoker. I have reliable transportation. After i left the nursing home I took in more in home care and have references apon request. I currently am looking to make this my full time job. Being that im pregnant I can work this around my schedule and it really gives me the freedom I have been looking for. I didnt think i would be able to continue in my field after I left and sittercity has really given mr that chance ive been looking for. I am so excited to be able to get back with working with people. I have experience in geriatrics and child care. I had a patiens who needed me to take them to appointments and remind them to to take their medication.
