Hello,
My name is Debbie. I have had years of experience caring for others. I have an M.A. in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling, emphasizing counseling with children. I raised two boys, homeschooling them for 10 years. I was a nursery school teacher, a director of an elementary after school program and summer camp, and Christian Education director at two churches, leading the children's ministries. My husband and I owned a residential home for brain injured adults, where I served as administrator for 3 years. For the past 15 years I have been a professional pastel artist, on occasion teaching lessons and workshops to adults and special needs adults. My mother lived with us from age 77-92. The last 3-4 years of her life, she had dementia, and I was her primary caregiver for those years.

It gives me great joy to be a part in helping to improve the daily life of others. As an artist, creativity is a central part of my life. I bring lots of creative energy to my relationships. I relate well with others and have a positive, caring demeanor.
