I love helping others. I believe it has always been my calling. I first started caring for others at age 11. I took care of my grandmother who had Alzheimer's. I who sit with her all day and have conversations with her not that she would remember anything we talked about just moments before but it didn't matter because it made her happy. I would cook for her, do her laundry, clean the house and anything else that needed to be done. I also started babysitting at age 11 and took care of 2 children 2-3 times a week while there parents went out or went to work. Then at age 18 I had my first child who was born with cerebralpalsy and it was much like taking care of 4 people in one as his health issues became more severe. It had a feeding tube, seizure disorder, and was in a wheelchair from the age 2 years old. So you see not only is it my calling but it's something I truly enjoy doing.
