I am a mother of 2 now teenagers one has ADHD and sensory issues. I took child care in high school and worked on and off at daycares before I had children. In 2022 my husband had a stroke and one of my kids were hospitalized. I started to look for work after being a stay at home mom for 12 years. I had no idea where to start. Once learning the new digital way of applying for jobs. I landed in a lovely daycare but I should have waited because my husband had to go back into hospital and I missed several days . Kids need consistency so I completely understand that they need someone else at that time. I ran a cub scout den for 5 years absolutely love all of the adventures and the boys all still keep me in there lives. I love caring for people took care of 3 family members on hospice and work as a HTA in a pediatric ICU for 2 years. I also worked in elder care in home and nursing homes. The child that made me realize I can make a difference was a quadriplegic with a trach. Working as her provider week days 8 to 4, I was there for all her therapy sessions and after about 2 years she was using an eye gaze computer to have some communication with others. I have cpr and first aid certificate. I also love furry pets No reptiles. We have 2 dog and 2 cats. I will also sit for elderly in any condition. I have my own vehicle.
