My mom was diagnosed with renal failure my freshman year of high school and being that we were away from family, I became her primary caregiver while she was on dialysis. During my high school career, I worked as an EMR Technician for my local ambulance service. Experiencing these types of experiences enabled me and provided me with valuable learning lessons.
