First and foremost, I love talking and meeting people. I am a speech therapist and interpreter so I have loads of experience meeting and conversing with people of all ages and stages including those who are deaf and/or hard of hearing.

I think it’s important that people have someone to spend time with and socialize even if they can’t leave the house. What is being a human without socialization?

Many of my neighbors are elderly and I have so much enjoyed helping them out and getting to know them. Whether it’s spending the day helping them make a meal, taking them out to lunch, going for a walk, or simply sitting down to have a chat about the good ol days. My heart is full when I see a smile on someone’s face because I took time to listen to them.

I consider myself to be a great listener, patient, kind, and helpful.
