I started my caregiver career in July 2010. I did 2 years of home care with the elderly in Katy (2010-2012). I transitioned into working at a nursing home/ rehab for 5 years in Pearland (2012-2017) .I worked personally with helping my patients bathe, dress for the day and assist with eating. During this time I also assisted with doing mild therapy exercises of flex and motion to any body part my patient would need to strengthen for better use. I moved on to work for a rehabilitation hospital in Pearland from 2017-currently, for patients who have had falls and/or needed strengthening therapy after surgeries. I have experience in working with elderly who have Dementia, Alzheimers, strokes, and minor- moderate behavioral issues. Also know how to treat and work with patients with recent surgeries for hip and knee replacements. Familiar with working in end of life (hospice) care. I am currently active as a certified cna by the state of Texas as well as certified in cpr for adults, children and infants. I truly love what I do. Helping those who can’t help theirselves is my passion. I will be enlisting into school soon to further my education as a Registered Nurse.
