Taking care of the elderly and children are favorites of mine. I am a compassionate, caring understanding, patient, organized and very clean person. I understand health issues because I had a child that was very ill when he was young and in and out of the hospital constantly. My Father had heart disease and Dementia. I have cared for my Grandparents for years. Hospice was called in for my Dad and Grandparentsz
Even though, I didn’t get my degree in health care, I have been a caretaker all of my life. I am retired now, but I was a school teacher.
I have administered medications, insulin shots, prepared meals, grocery shopped and run errands for them through the years, etc.
The elderly basically need someone to talk to that is loving and caring. They love talking about their past, need a listening ear and an energetic person to tend to their needs.
