Why did I become a caregiver? It's simple, I love taking care of people. I've always been a nurturer, with children, pets and the elderly. I have no children or pets of my own so I find it rewarding to assist others with personal care. I have more than 6+ years of in-home care experience ranging from early on-set Alzheimer's to amputees. My last patient wore a colostomy bag so I am familiar with catheters, distributing and logging medications, assisting in bathing, dressing, transportation to doctor's appointments and distributing insulin injections.
