Hi, my name is Lisa. I love being a caregiver because I love making a difference in other people's lives. I know what I do helps elderly people stay living independently in their own home environment. My clients love to see me walking in the door. Caring for others is my passion! I have 4 years of professional Companion/Sitter experience. I help clients take prescribed medication, assist with physical activity, mental stimulation, arts & crafts, light housekeeping, meal preparation, socialization, relaxation, grocery shopping, transportation, doctor visits and specialized care that the family sets up for me. I act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency and offer the peace of mind to families so that they are able to keep up with their own life and activities. I also assist with ambulation and mobility around the house and outside with walks, doctor appointments, etc . I assist clients with ADLs, help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises. I also take notes at doctor appointments for the client and family records. I LOVE WHAT I DO!
