Mary’s Bio
I’m a CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) and have experience as a caregiver for over three years in an assisted living facility.
I prepared meals, assisting with dressing, feeding. showering and using the restroom as well as changing dressings and changing adult diapers. Sometimes just sitting with someone with Alzheimer’s is all they need. I enjoy listening to their stories of their younger years.
Someone with patience for this job is required and I am qualified to help in any way you need. It’s a rewarding experience to be able to help others when they can’t help themselves.
I’ve become close to some of the residents throughout the years and am understanding of the family’s need to have time for themselves as it can be a very demanding
I currently care for my granddaughter every other week in Mesquite and am available after 4pm on the weeks there. I’m in Tyler on the alternating weeks but can be available 24hrs Sun-Wed on those weeks if planned in advance.
I would feel very grateful to have a chance to help someone who needs a break every now and then from caring for their loved one.
