Hey y'all! My name is Brittany. Originally from Wisconsin, I have navigated moves between the Bay Area and Austin for the past ~9 years. While I have unfortunately been caught up in the tech layoffs at Google, I am looking to make a difference as a Care Companion.

My grandpa was one of my best friends. Unfortunately earlier this year, he passed away from dementia. Up until then, I was navigating constant trips between Austin and Wisconsin to help care for him for weeks at a time. Before he passed, I made a promise that I would make it a mission of mine to help others fighting this terrible disease. I am open to offering any kind of help to make your loved one feel comfortable and safe. Responsibilities could look like keeping them company, running errands, taking them to appointments, ensuring they eat, fixing things around the house, etc.
