I have been working as a companion and caregiver since 2011. I love to serve and brighten peoples day.
The last three years I worked for a nonverbal brain injured elderly woman. I took her to appointments, we went on fun outings, ran errands and we would have lunch together. We became close friends. I was in close communication with her husband and her health care team about her needs. I would often bring my guitar and play music for her while she read or took a nap.
The last three years I worked with an autistic male in his forties. We would go on outings and I would take him to job placements and help him as needed.
I loved my work with both clients back in my home state of Michigan. I am hoping to develop relationship with clients here in Nashville.
