I'm experienced in all levels of special needs care for children and adults. Personally, I was the primary caregiver for my son during his nearly 6 years of brain cancer treatment. Trach, g-tube, central line care throughout dozens of surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation treatments. My son was 17 months old at the time of original diagnosis. At age 4. 5 he survived a major stroke and cardiac arrest which left him fully reliant on 24-hour care. This was done by myself during the day, along with night nursing when available. I am well-versed on all mobility issues, transferring, bathing, feeding, O/T, P/T, and speech care at home. My son passed 7 years ago, at the age of 7. I am looking to put my skills to good use by helping a family who needs someone extremely trustworthy, all the while keeping your families privacy in check.
