Raquiba’s Bio
Hi,
My name is Raquiba Morgan, I'm a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I double majored in Biology and Psychology as well as minored in Chemistry. I graduated in 05/2017 at which time I received my Bachelors of Science in Biology. I'm currently a Wake Forest Baptist Health employee of the Ophthalmology department where I serve as a Quality Assurance Associate. It is my future endeavor to attend Medical School where I will pursue a career in Anesthesia.
The reason I have chosen to work with the elderly as well as provide care for them is merely because I truly believe that there is so much to learn from those who have been where we haven't as yet. I also believe the elderly is often neglected and deserve to be cared for with a kind and compassionate heart. I firmly believe that the leaders of tomorrow will benefit from the leaders of today; leaders of today being the elderly. I like to believe that as an individual you have so many responsibilities at times that make it a bit difficult to spend as much time with your loved ones as you would like, but without a doubt you still try to provide the best care you can. It is my job as a CareGiver to help you provide this care.
I have approximately 2 years of experience as a CareGiver and physician aid. I have been taking care of the elderly since my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. I've particularly cared for those with Dementia, Alzheimers, Cancer and others who are bedbound. I also run errands, grocery shop, participate in house cleaning, personal care and overnight care. I'm a trained Certified Nurse Assistant. I'm CPR certified and I thrive well in environments that are high in pressure/demanding.
- Thank you for taking the time to read. I look forward to working with you and your loved ones. :)
