Hello,
My name is Cathy Major. I am from Columbia South Carolina and I'm 59 years old. In my spare time, I really enjoy cooking and spending time with my husband and granddaughter. I have been retired for quite some time now and I am looking for some source of extra income. I have been a babysitter and a caregiver before and I've always enjoyed it. This is part of the reason why I am looking for work here. I have an appreciation and fondness for older people (such as myself haha) which is why I enjoy taking care of them. I have previous experience working in a nursing home for 6 years. I have also taken care of friends' elderly family members and I grew a close, loving relationship with them. I would clean, cook, run errands, and take care of their daily needs. As I've mentioned before, I have also babysat children from the ages of 4 and up ( potty trained children). As far as certifications, I have my Covid Vaccination shots but I am not currently CPR certified but I am willing to be if that's a requirement.
