Most of my Senior Care experience has been with family members with Alhemizers and some with age related sicknesses, such as heart, diabetes, pulmonary and various cancers.
In my work experiences I have dealt with children and adults. Eight years as a Field Executive for Girl Scouts recruiting girls and training adults and doing programs for both the girl and adult members. For three years I was a Parent Educator for the Georgetown School District working with 25 to 30 families a week enhancing their parenting skills. The last eight years I was employed with AVX Corp. working a machine building electrical capacitors.
I am a volunteer for Red Cross, Girl Scouts, Rape Crisis, Georgetown United Way, St. Cyprian's Outreach Center and my church. I've been nominated as volunteer of the year by Red Cross, Rape Crisis and my church.
Due to the economy, I was separated form my job and am now planning to enter the LPN program at Williamsburg Technical College in May. In the interim, I have completed Phlebotomist Training at Trident Technical College.
