Karen’s Bio
I'm a Sittercity care provider with a daughter in college currently working as a nanny. I have provided social companionship, trips for restaurant meals, shopping, dr. appts., bill paying, meal prep, etc. for my elderly grandparents who lived in their own home but due to medical disabilities simply needed a little help with daily activities and were happy to get out of the house once a week. I enjoyed helping them and hearing their life stories and got as much out of it as they did.

When I fell down the stairs and broke my leg (requiring surgery to repair) I didn't know how I was going to care for my two kids. Karen was -- quite literally -- an answer to my prayers. She was dependable, punctual, and very caring and patient (and trust me, my six-year-old son would try the patience of a saint!). A very hard worker, Karen had no problem at all helping me with cooking dinner and preparing other meals (when I was still laid up on the couch), doing laundry, and shuttling my son around to school and karate. She was extremely attentive to my year-old daughter, as well. I had absolutely no qualms at all about leaving my children in her care, and will be very sad to see her go when we move next week. She's the best!
