Hello, my name is Mackenzie Reams, and I’m dedicated to providing compassionate and attentive care to the elderly.

At 18 years old, I have recently graduated from the York County School of Technology with a focus on Sports Medicine. My passion for helping others has driven me to pursue a career in senior care, where I can make meaningful connections and ensure that those in my care receive the dignity and respect they deserve. I believe that the elderly should be cared for with the same kindness and attentiveness that they have shown others throughout their lives. Their contributions have shaped the world we live in today, and I’m committed to giving back by supporting their well-being.

I bring a strong foundation of skills and certifications to my role. I am certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED, and have been trained in OSHA standards, disease control, injury prevention, and the proper techniques for stopping bleeding and dressing wounds. Additionally, I’m knowledgeable about EPA regulations for sanitation and disinfectant solutions, ensuring a clean and safe environment for those I care for.

Since graduation, I have had several senior clients in a variety of age groups. In my caregiving role, I am equipped to assist with a variety of tasks, including medication management, wound care, simple meal preparation, housekeeping, feeding, bathing, grooming, and providing companionship. I am also experienced in proper use of wheelchairs, canes, walkers, catheters, stoma bags, CPAP machines, and body lifts. I approach every task with care and dedication, striving to create a comfortable and supportive atmosphere for the individuals I serve.
