I have unlimited patience for kids & the elderly, realizing that all behavior is a form of communication. I currently teach Special Ed to nonverbal high school students. I previously worked as a Teacher's Aide at The Children's Institute. I've also had a few Nanny positions which lasted several years each. Prior to that, I worked as a Therapeutic Support Staff, providing behavioral support for the families of kids with disabilities. I'm certified as a Registered Behavioral Therapist & can communicate in basic sign language. I am well-suited for teaching (& respite care) due to my level-headedness, balanced with a sense of humor & the ability to improvise. I am trained in first aid & CPR, and am looking for a long-term position. I hope to hear from you!
