I have been a Certified Nurses Aide for over 3 years now but have spent most of my life caring for my Grandparents. My grandfather suffered from MS for 20 years and was bedridden for 15 of those years. All I knew was to care for him. My Grandmother was the reason I became certified. She fell and had compressed fractures in her back which led to her being admitted to a long term care facility. Wanting to protect and make sure that she received the care that she needed and deserved, I put myself through school, while raising my 2 boys, as a single mother. I graduated and was hired at her facility. I absolutely love caring for children and those in need of help when they can no longer do it themselves. It is the most rewarding job there is. I work part time at a retirement community now but am looking for someone to care for during the weekdays. I recently was an at home caregiver to one of the most beautiful women I have ever met. We were together for 2 years and she just recently decided it was her time to go. Again, I love caring for those that need it and hope to connect with someone.
