Hello! My name is Olivia (she/her) and I'm a 24-year-old living in South Philly. I was most recently a Family Empowerment Services (FES) case manager working all over Philadelphia to meet with families in their homes. I graduated from Temple University in the Spring of 2021 receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. Growing up in the upper Bucks County area, I lived in a tight-knit neighborhood. Because of this, it was not uncommon for me to babysit neighbors' children and dogsit! As I got older, I gained more experience in dogsitting by working at a pet resort for three months and in caregiving by working as a Companion at a retirement community for a little over a year. I have always had a passion for working with people (and animals) in their daily lives and assisting them wherever possible! While I enjoyed my time as a FES case manager and learned so much about community-based resources and how best to connect families to them, I found myself wanting to work more personally with others again. As for training/certifications, my Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED needs to be renewed as of 10/6/2022. I am more than willing to get this renewed before starting any jobs!
