Since i was young, I've always took in upon myself to care for any and everyone. It brings me much joy and comes natural to me. In 2015 I underwent training by Patriot Home Care, which taught me things such as safe handling when assisting with movement and implementing proper hygiene to those unable to care for themselves. While caring for different family members, my number one priority became giving them a safe and happy environment and maintaining their dignity when administering care.

I have range in my experience starting with basic companion care. I love a lot of classic movies and music so it's very easy for me to converse and have genuine interest in older ones. During companion care in the past, i've enjoyed playing games, watching movies, talking, and getting outdoors with those in my care. Being active is very important to me, so I make sure to educate myself on how to get older ones active and mobile according to their personal circumstances. Housekeeping, meal provision, and giving medicine are task i've been entrusted with.

For older ones that require a bit more care, I've worked with Dementia patients and cared for an elderly family member undergoing cancer treatments. I always make it a goal to be in excellent communication with the family of such ones.
