Katie’s Bio
Ever feel like you don’t have enough time in the day to get everything accomplished? Do you wish someone could help you balance what life brings your way? Whether you need part-time, temporary assistance or longer care, I’d love to talk about your needs, and how I can relieve some stress. I’m a natural helper and full-time mom to my 3 children. As they’re getting older, I’m looking for other opportunities to invest in the lives of people and families. My experience spans from caring for premature newborns to providing respite care for families going through cancer and surgeries. I’ve volunteered as a camp counselor, at a baby orphanage in Haiti and at Wadsworth City Schools since 2011. If one is navigating health issues and surgeries, I am an excellent patient advocate and can amplify your voice to make sure your needs are met. My goal is to align the care I give with my personal values of honesty, open communication, unconditional love, gentleness, and whole-hearted living. I treat others with respect and dignity. My personal skills are diversified and varied from unique life experiences. I am deeply caring, nurturing and patient with excellent creative problem solving skills. I have special sensitivities to the unexpected journey of grief and navigating the new normals life brings our way. My experiences include caring for newborns, children, aging family members, household pets, farm animals (including horses), gardens and plants. In my free time, I love spending time with family, vacation planning, traveling, gardening, shopping, creative projects, hiking and spending time outside. My rates vary depending needs and time commitment.
