I cared for my Father who had congestive heart failure for 7 months proir to his passing. I engaged him in as many activities as he could tolerate. With Mom, it was much different as she had a brain bleed due to a fall. She went into severe Dementia, I took care of her at home for over a year, but it was a vicious circle because she would dehydrate easily, even when given enough fluids, had full blown Alzheimers Passed away 7-7-2011 Mom and I enjoyed every single day we could. We shopped, played board games, watched movies . We stayed very active and enjoyed the simple things that gave us pleasure and joy during this last journey we walked together hand in hand.
I have done hospice care and after surgery care . I just like to help others in any capacity I can..
