I have 5 years of experience with babysitting for a multitude of families and was a summer nanny for 3 summers. In addition to this, I have my State Tested Nurse Aide licence in the state of Ohio and have been trained in a nursing home setting to assist various patients in activities of daily living. In addition to this, I visit with a family near my school once a week where I act as a sensory and communication development aid for their son that had a traumatic brain injury. In my visits here, I assist with personal care and read to him, along with many other sensory activities. I am currently a student at Miami University studying Speech Pathology and Audiology. I am very involved on campus and, thus, am able to juggle schedules very well. With my outgoing personality, ability to adapt and organizational and time management skills, I believe that I would be a great fit in any home as a care aide. I also have a reliable vehicle and completely clean driving record. I will be available from December 15th until January 25th and then again for summer and winter breaks.
