Hi there! My name is Alyssa Jean. I am currently a registered nurse working in a clinic and getting my master's in community health education part-time. Before working in a clinic that is aimed towards preventative medicine, I worked as a telemetry nurse where I cared for many geriatric patients. I grew to love the older population and valued their wisdom, experience, and livelihood. I knew that after leaving bedside nursing, I would still want to find a way to care for the elderly. That is why I have decided to become a care companion and continue to give back to the community.
