I have experience providing companion care for private families. We would spending time conversing, listening to audio books or poetry, playing mentally stimulating games or cards for fun, watching documentaries/films/movies/sports, going for walks in nature, spending time with animals/pets, cooking, going to shows, making crafts, knitting and going shopping. I did whatever I could to make them happy and keep them active and healthy. I assisted with personal care, ensuring cleanliness and good hygiene practices. I verified that all medications were taken as prescribed. I prepared meals and did laundry. I transported them to medical appointments. I built wonderful bonds with them as well as their families, who; like you, are making sure their lives are as fulfilling as possible. I keep myself clean and the spaces around me tidy. I have a valid driver's license and vehicle. I live in eastern long Island and am willing to travel if it is cost effective. I am available weekdays as well as some weekends.  I look forward to helping you continue to enrich the lives of your loved ones.
